I was woken by the sound of fierce winds this morning. I turned on the TV and checked the weather report. Some flooding was reported in Los Angeles area, and a mandatory evacuation was ordered for people living in Glendora. This winter storm was heavier than I thought. In addition, there were a great number of accidents on Highway due to rain. I was going to meet with my friend this morning, but I asked her to skip today's meeting because I wanted to avoid going outside during thunderstorms. Considering that the California drought was the worst in its history this winter, this rain possibly helps.
