How to Cook Simmered Beef and Celery

       Last night, I cooked simmered beef and celery. It tasted like Japanese sukiyaki and was so good! Celery is often on sale, so I sometimes cook it for dinner. :) I'm going to share how to cook simmered beef and celery with you.


Ingredients

a head of celery (cut into a bite size)
1 pound of beef (cut into a bite size)
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of mirin
1 tablespoon of sake
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of hondashi
1/2 cup of water


1. Heat oil in a pan over high heat, and stir-fry beef in the pan.
2. When beef is thoroughly cooked, add celery, soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, hondashi and water. Simmer them for 10 minutes.
3. Enjoy!
