Ozoni - Japanese New Year's Soup

This morning, my husband and I cooked ozoni, which is a Japanese traditional soup eaten New Year's Day. Ozoni contains mochi rice cakes. We just used yesterday's left over soup made for soba, and added sliced gobo and extra chickens in it. It tasted great. :)))

You can also add mochi into white miso soup to make ozoni. :)
