How to Make Avocado Sashimi

Last night, my husband and I made avocado sashimi for dinner. This is one of my favorite avocado recipes because it's super easy to make. :) As you can see the photo below, I just sliced avocado. That's all! Because the texture of avocado is very similar to sashimi of fatty bluefin tuna belly, which is called toro in Japanese. Toro is very expensive in Japan, so some people in Japan eat sliced avocado as an alternative to toro. It tastes pretty similar to toro but way too cheaper. :) Yet, I can find very delicious avocado at more affordable prices in the U.S. than Japan. I bought this avocado for $1 at Whole Foods last weekend. :) Since I moved to the U.S., I have sometimes made avocado sashimi for quick and easy side dish. :)  Anyway, I'm going to share how to make super easy avocado sashimi with you.
