Vintage Japanese Coins

While I was tidying my home according to Konmari Method, I found vintage Japanese coins and bills. These are just some of them. My husband told me that he got these from his late grandmother when he was a young boy.

These are uncirculated coins and very rare. Even though I lived in Japan for most of my life, I have never seen these coins there.

Most of them were released in Taisho era and early Showa era which are about 70 to 100 years ago.

These black coins were probably released in Edo era, which is about 350 years ago.

We don't need these coins because these are uncirculated, and we are not vintage coin collectors. However, we cannot throw them away because these were money! That's why we decided to sell them. I thought his late grandmother had never expected that he would have tried to sell them in the U.S.
