What He Got at Drugstore in Japan - Haul

Before my husband was on a business trip, I made a Japanese drugstore shopping list, which I wanted him to purchase in Japan. :) He went to two drugstores, Matsumotokiyoshi and Kimuraya, for me in Japan. He told me that most of my requested products were liquid, so walking with heavy liquid was pretty hard. (It's because he also purchased more items for me! I will share those in my future entries. )  Anyway, I am going to share with you what he got at drugstore in Japan.

1. Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder 0.4g 32 pieces
1,836 yen at Matsumotokiyoshi Drugstore
Kanebo Suisai
As I mentioned in my previous entry, Kanebo Suisai was the one I wanted to get in Japan! This is very popular facial cleansing powder in Japan. It contains two kinds of enzymes which dissolves blackheads and improves your skin condition.

2. Sengan Pasta Rosette Cleansing Pasta Muddy Sea Smooth
513 yen at Matsumotokiyoshi Drugstore
Rosette Pasta
Rosette Pasta is also popular facial cleanser in Japan. I heard that it was often sold out in Japan, so I am glad that he found one. :)

3. Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil
498 yen each at Matsumotokiyoshi Drugstore
Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil
As I often mentioned in my entries, Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil is the best makeup remover in Japan. :)  It really removes all makeup including waterproof mascara and heavy sunscreen at one go. In addition, it removes dead skin and clogged pores.

4. Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel SPF35 PA+++
718 yen at Matsumotokiyoshi Drugstore
Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel SPF35 PA+++
He tried to find Biore Sarasara UV Care Milk SPF30 PA++, which I requested originally, but they were all sold out. Because it was October, which is off season for sunscreen, they didn't carry a lot. He tried to find sunscreen with SPF30 and decided to purchase this one. We used to use Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel and loved it, so I am glad he purchased this. :) By the way, he told me that there were many Asian tourists around sunscreen section there. He told me, "Actually, most customers at the store looked like Asian foreign tourists, and the cashiers was probably non-Japanese too." It's been 8 years since we moved to the U.S. Since then, we've often heard that number of tourists vising Japan has been increasing year after year. He used to live in Tokyo for years, and we traveled Tokyo so many times, but it looked like it has changed. It was very interesting story for me. Anyway, I thought Japanese sunscreen is also very popular for foreign tourists. :)

5. Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Water
Spray Bottle: 798 yen at Kimuraya Drugstore
Refill : 698 yen at Kimuraya Drugstore
Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Water
I found that Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Water has so many positive reviews in Japanese review site. At Matsumotokiyoshi drugstore, this was all sold out, so he went to another drugstore, Kimuraya, and found ones. :)

At Kimuraya drugstore, he called me and asked me if I wanted him to get its refill as well. Many Japanese products such as shampoo and laundry detergent have refills. Usually refills are a little cheaper. Indeed, this refill was 100 yen cheaper than original bottle. :)

6. Kao Emarl Laundry Detergent
190 yen at Kimuraya Drugstore
Kao Emarl Laundry Detergent
I love Kao Emarl, a laundry detergent for delicate clothing. I can wash delicate clothing at home, so I don't have to take those to professional cleaners. :) Indeed, I washed my husband business suit with using this detergent today. You only need 10 ml of it for one hand wash, so this 500 ml bottle will last so long. It saves my time and money. :)
