Before and After Master Bathroom - New Shower Handles, Tub Spout And Shower Heads

As I mentioned in my previous entries, my husband and I have been working on our bathrooms renovation this year. Last month, we hired professional painters to have the tiles painted and have old bathtubs refinished. Then, my husband finally installed shower handles, tub spout and shower heads in our master bathroom. As you can see the photo below, our master bathroom was very outdated and extremely ugly. :(( Because of that, we actually hadn't used this master bathroom until he installed new ones.

Now, our master bathroom has modern and clean look! I am very happy with how it looks now and glad that we were finally able to start using this bathroom.

■Shower Handles : BrassCraft SK0268

Since we are DIY beginners, it was very difficult to choose the right handles.

We removed the old ones and took them to the our local home improvement store, and we asked a staff which ones we should choose.

The knowledgeable staff advised us to choose universal ones. We finally chose the white and chrome handles, BrassCraft SK0268.

He finally installed the new ones.

■Tub Spout : Speakman S-1557

Choosing the right spout was also difficult. When my husband found this modern chrome spout, Speakman S-1557, on Amazon, he told me that he wanted to have ones for our bathrooms. If truth be told, it didn't perfectly fit with the original pipe, so he purchased some copper pipes and soldered them to make the perfect pipe. I was very impressed at his hard work. He finally installed it to our master bathroom. :)

■Bath Drain : Sioux Chief ABS Bath Drain Kit

He also replaced the old bath drain to new one, Sioux Chief ABS Bath Drain Kit.

■Bathtub Drain Protector : OXO Good Grips Bathtub Drain Protector

Then, he found this OXO Good Grips Bathtub Drain Protector, which catches hair while allowing water to drain. Seriously, this is the best drain protector we've ever used!

The drain protector perfectly fit over the bathtub drain and can stay still there while I am using the shower. :)

■Shower Heads : Hydroluxe Chrome B00JUZTG4M

We purchase the shower heads, Hydroluxe Chrome B00JUZTG4M, from Amazon as well. I really love these shower heads. They look so beautiful and work great!

■Shower Rings : Double Glide Shower Rings

I purchased the double glide shower rings to hang both shower curtain and liner. :)

I love this soft cotton shower curtain. I really love my clean and modern shower room now.
