As I mentioned in my previous entries, my husband and I finished renovating our guest bathroom!

Installing Bathroom Floor Tiles - Our Bathroom Renovation (September 2017)

The bathroom was very outdated and ugly before. Now, the bathroom looks brand new! :) Indeed, we replaced many items to new ones. Today, I'm going to share with you our new bathroom sink, faucet, toilet, towel bars and paint in this bathroom. :)

 ■ Bathroom Sink : Kohler K-2699
We looked for a perfect sized sink for our bathroom. We finally found Kohler K-2699 Bathroom, and he installed it.

We like the fact that this sink has modern look. :) However, the bottom is quite flat, so it doesn't drain as well as a regular sink does. I need to scrub and wipe the sink at least once a day to remove hard water spots from it.

■ Bathroom Faucet : American Standard Devonport
We found the bathroom faucet at our local Costco. It had been $49.99 before, but when we purchased it, it was only $30!

■ Toilet : Kohler Elliston 1.28-GPF (4.85-LPF) White Elongated Chair Height 2-piece Toilet
Several months ago, we attended Home Depot Do-It-Yourself Workshop to learn how to install a toilet, and we were surprised at how easy it was to replace it. We thought that we could do it for our bathrooms!

The old toilet used much more water, so we decided to replace it to a new one. :)

We went to Lowe's and Home Depot to look for a new toilet. There were many toilets we could choose from.

We decided to purchase this toilet, Kohler Elliston 1.28-GPF White Elongated Chair Height 2-piece Toilet.

Actually, it was not easy to take this extremely heavy toilet to our home from the store. Because it was a two-piece toilet, we eventually opened the huge box of this toilet at the store parking lot and separately loaded the tank and the toilet in my small car. ;) Then, from my parking space in our condominium, we used a Cosco Hand Truck to carry the heavy toilet to our bathroom.

We really love this toilet. It has a very impressive flush for its water usage.

■ Towel Bar : Moen BP5824CH Aspen 24-Inch Towel Bar, Chrome
I ordered this 24-inch towel bar, Moen Aspen BP5824CH, for our bathroom.

It was easy to install, and it looks clean and modern. :)

■ Towel Ring :  Moen BP5886CH Aspen Towel Ring, Chrome
I ordered this towel ring, Moen Aspen BP5886, for our bathroom.

■ Primer Paint : KILZ Premium High-Hide Stain Blocking Interior/Exterior Latex Primer

We chose Kilz Premium High-Hide Stain Blocking Latex Primer for the bathroom paint primer. It was more expensive than Kilz 2 Latex, we previously used for painting cabinets, but I liked this primer very much because this one blocked stain very well and resist mildew and moisture.

■ Paint : Olympic One Tintable Semi-gloss Latex Enamel Interior Paint and Primer in One (Gypsum OL133 N32)

We went to Lowe's to purchase bathroom paints.

We chose white, Gypsum, for the bathroom wall paint color with using a painting catalog. We brought the catalog to our local Lowe's, and they created a perfect color for us. :)

We also purchased a new painting roller for ceiling.

We sanded walls, ceiling and the bathroom door with BLACK+DECKER BDEMS600 Mouse Detail Sander. Then, we cleaned surfaces with TSP. Then, we painted the primer two coats and white paint three coats.

We painted ceiling white as well. By the way, I think that one of the biggest improvements for this bathroom is this new ventilation fan. He replaced noisy old one to this Panasonic one in February this year. This is very quiet and works great! :)

It took many months to renovate this bathroom. I'm really satisfied with our white bathroom. :)  We will work on our master bathroom renovation as well. However, now we are working on replacing flooring in our entire home. (That's why I have been very tired from doing it every weekends.)
